2. Who We Are

Tokvio is an AI chat platform that provides access to multiple AI models including Claude by Anthropic, ChatGPT by OpenAI, and Gemini by Google through one unified interface.

3. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Tokvio:

Account Information

• Full name
• Email address
• Password (stored as encrypted hash — never plain text)
• Account creation date
• Last login date

Usage Information

• Chat messages you send through our platform
• AI responses you receive
• Which AI model handled each request
• Credits used per message
• Total messages sent
• Conversation history
• Feature preferences and settings

Payment Information

• Subscription plan (Standard or Power)
• Payment status (processed entirely by Stripe)
• Billing renewal dates

Note: We never see or store your credit card numbers. All payment processing is handled by Stripe.

Technical Information

• IP address (for security and fraud prevention)
• Browser type and version
• Device type
• Session information

We Do NOT Collect

• Credit card numbers or financial account details
• Government ID or social security numbers
• Information from anyone under 13 years old
• Location data beyond what IP provides

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your Tokvio account
• Process your messages through our AI routing system
• Track your credit balance and usage
• Process subscription payments through Stripe
• Send essential account notifications (credit alerts, payment confirmations, password resets)

5. AI Processing — Important Notice

When you send a message through Tokvio your message is processed by one of these third-party AI providers:

OpenAI (ChatGPT)

Your messages may be sent to OpenAI servers for processing.

Anthropic (Claude)

Your messages may be sent to Anthropic servers for processing.

Google (Gemini)

Your messages may be sent to Google servers for processing.

• We do NOT use your messages to train our own AI models.
• We do NOT sell your conversation data to any third party.
• Each AI provider has their own data retention policies which we encourage you to review.

6. Data Retention

We keep your data for the following periods:

• Account information: Kept until you delete your account
• Chat history and conversations: Kept indefinitely unless you delete them — you control your history
• Payment records: Kept for 7 years as required by law
• Usage statistics: Kept indefinitely for your reference
• Technical logs: Kept for 90 days then deleted

You can delete individual conversations or your entire account and all associated data at any time from your settings page. Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

7. Data Sharing

We share your data only with these service providers who help us operate Tokvio:

• OpenAI — processes your AI messages (ChatGPT)
• Anthropic — processes your AI messages (Claude)
• Google — processes your AI messages (Gemini)
• Stripe — processes your subscription payments
• MongoDB Atlas — stores your account data securely
• Railway — hosts our application infrastructure

We NEVER:

• Sell your personal data to advertisers
• Share your data with data brokers
• Use your data for advertising targeting
• Share your conversations with unauthorized parties

We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Right to Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Right to Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
• Right to Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data
• Right to Opt Out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies and Google Analytics. Essential cookies are required for Tokvio to function and cannot be disabled.

We do NOT use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or social media tracking cookies. Google Analytics data is anonymous and does not include your name, email, or conversation content.

10. Global Privacy Control

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Tokvio does not sell or share user data for advertising or cross-context behavioral tracking. GPC signals are respected automatically as we do not engage in any data practices that GPC is designed to prevent.

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

• Right to know what personal information is collected
• Right to know if personal information is sold or disclosed
• Right to opt out of the sale of personal information (Note: we do not sell personal information)
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights
• Right to deletion of personal information

12. Consumer Profiles

Tokvio creates a user profile for each account holder containing account information, subscription details, credit balance, AI preferences, and conversation history. This profile is used solely to deliver and personalize the Tokvio service.

We use automated processing to route messages to the most appropriate AI model based on message content and user preferences. This automated routing affects which AI responds to each message but does not affect pricing, account status, or any decisions with legal significance. Users can manually override any automated routing decision at any time.

We do not sell profile data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than providing the Tokvio service.

13. Minimum Age

Tokvio is only available to users 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If we become aware that a user is under 13 we will immediately delete their account and all associated data.

14. Data Security

We protect your data using industry-standard security:

• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt — never stored in plain text
• All data transmitted over HTTPS encryption
• JWT tokens for secure session management
• Rate limiting to prevent brute force attacks
• Regular security monitoring and logging
• Access controls limiting who can access user data

While we take security seriously no system is completely immune to breaches. If a breach occurs that affects your data we will notify you promptly.

15. Dispute Resolution

Privacy disputes will first be addressed through informal negotiation. Contact us at privacytokvio@gmail.com and we will work to resolve your concern.

If informal resolution fails disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association rules in Kansas.

16. Changes to This Policy

We will notify you by email at least 3 days before making significant changes to this Privacy Policy. For minor updates or clarifications we may update immediately.

Continued use of Tokvio after changes means you accept the updated policy. The current version is always available at tokvio.io/privacy.
